Ultralights

Ultralights are, as the name implies, very light airplanes, with a maximum empty weight of 254 lbs. Governed by FAR Part rules, they are single seater that can carry no more than 5 gallons of fuel and cruise no faster than 55 MPH. Ultralights are not required to be inspected like other aircraft, and no license os required to fly them, although it highly recommended that you receive flight training.
